All customers who rent hiking shoes receive a pair of socks for free. Legs get fatigued easily when hiking on the mountain due to uneven surfaces. Shoes without ankle support makes it difficult to maintain balance. Hiking with hiking shoes that covers up to the ankles prevent sprains, and thick soles provide much more safety and stability. We provide easy-to-fit hiking shoes for the beginners as well.
★Notes
-Please choose a size larger than what you normally wear by 0.5 to 1cm since the hiking socks are thicker.
[04] Trekking Poles Use of trekking poles gives extra stability and leads to less fatigues. This is especially important in descent where it is desirable to reduce the stress on knees. For those who are hiking on the trail for the first time, lack of experience and proper technique may cause more impact and stress on your body. Use of trekking poles can help reduce such stress and fatigues.
[05] Head Lamp
Even if you do not plan to hike at night time, there are many instances that head lights become necessary - staying out late on trail due to accidents, encountering bad weather condition with poor visibility, etc. There are also instances where you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night at mountain huts or make an early departure when it is still dark. Head lamps can be turned on easily, even in the darkness. Replacement batteries are also provided, so you can go in the trail without any worries.

If fleece alone is not keeping the body warm, put on a rain gear to keep the winds out. Any fleece or down jackets may be used in the mountains, but be sure to rent it from us if you do not have one.
